You are a mech pilot cadet who desperately wants to be a mech pilot. Lucky for you, there's a Commander nearby, and if you do well enough, she'll scout you! Never mind the murder in the background or anything. Never mind the hand in the Gardens. Never mind whatever you saw in the storage room. Never mind all that.

God what an emotional rollercoaster, in the best way possible mind you. Yeah this is definitively something I'm going to be thinking about for a while.
